    Instant Yakisoba Noodles

My current school schedule doesn't leave much time for me to cook sometimes. I'm trying to prep my meals better and eat healthier, but unfortunately, that's not always the case. Which means that, a lot of time time, I end up eating a classic one-man Japanese dish: instant noodles.

Because of this, I get to try a lot of instant noodle brands and options. Whenever I get the chance, I'll try to snap some pictures and write a few words on them for this blog! Some of them are much better than the other, and I forget a lot of the time too... So it's beneficial for me too!

The first time I ate instant yakisoba, I didn't know what to expect. When I unwrapped the packaging, I was shocked to see this ingenious method of cooking the noodles. Similarly to instant ramen, you first need to boil water and then cook the noodles in it.

Of course, you need to add your dehydrated veggies and whatever other goodies are included in the packaging, much like you would with a standard block of ramen in a pot... The noodle blocks look pretty similar!

After you've put the toppings in with the boiling water, wait however long the packaging specifies. I like to wait a little longer personally, but the softness of noodles is totally up to you!

Now, this is my favorite part part of the whole process. There's a cool drain built right in! Just peel the packaging back and drain the noodles. It's all in the same package. How cool is that!

So, this is what the noodles look like once the water is drained. Then, just add the second package which contains the sauce.

Lastly, mix everything together. Make sure that the sauce coats every noodle and there are no chunks or un-coated spots. Then, enjoy your delicious yakisoba!

Overall: Personally, I didn't think this brand or flavor was anything special. Everything was pretty standard, but it definitely wasn't bad. I don't think I'd get it again, though, as I know there are much better flavors out there!
